Aggrey Odongo

Grants Finance Manager, Finance and Operations

As the Grants Finance Manager, Aggrey is responsible for managing award agreements, compliance and financial management. He works closely with the Finance Director for post-award management and compliance. He also plays a key role in developing materials and facilitating trainings for building the capacity of program staff in the area of compliance. Aggrey has over 20 years’ experience in financial management spanning across various sectors (NGO’s, public and private). He is Member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and currently pursuing his PhD (Finance) from the University of Nairobi, has an MBA from University of Nairobi, BBA (Accounting) and a certificate in Project Management in Global Health from the University of Washington. Prior to joining Lwala, he worked as an auditor with Rangi & Company Associates; Impact Research & Development Organization (IRDO) based in Kisumu as Finance & Administration Officer (FAO) , Coca Cola East and Central Africa Business Unit (ECABU), in Nairobi as Financial Analyst and lastly the Ministry of Health as an Accountant.
