Elizabeth is the Director of People & Culture. She has over 15 years of progressive generalist Human Resource experience, most of which have been in the development sector. She joined us from Marie Stopes Kenya where she served as the Director of People & Development. Her previous roles in Human Resource Management were at Transparency International Kenya and Care International, Somalia. She is well versed in diversity, equity and inclusion, talent management, safeguarding, recruitment, staffing, and handling grievance and discipline procedures. Her role is to ensure that Lwala team members encounter the best employment experience through adequate policies, practices, and strategies. Her comprehensive expertise stems from massive success that she has had in areas of HR policy development and implementation, legal and HR risk management, and HR systems and process management. Additionally, she is excited to facilitate employee engagement, change and culture management, staff training, and learning and development. Elizabeth holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and is a Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management.
