Hildah formulates and implements the digital strategy for the organization as Director, Digital Systems. She leads the Community Health Workforce Digitization strategy through collaboration with the Ministry of Health Kenya and other technical partners. She believes that technology is a catalyst for improved health outcomes. Having worked with systems that are designed to work at scale in low resource areas, she brings in expertise for defining solutions that serve the communities. Prior to Lwala, Hildah worked with Newglobe Education, an international EdTech company, as Technology Director leading implementation in Rwanda, Nigeria and India. She has also worked with Ona Limited on a Digital Global Good known as OpenSRP in the Digital Health Space. She has previously held positions as Full Stack Engineer and Technical Project Manager in Safaricom, a leading Teloo in Kenya. She is a Computer Science graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya and an MBA holder from the University of South Wales in the United Kingdom.
