As the Director of Research and Learning, Sandra crafts the Lwala research and learning strategy, leads all study design and deployment as well as implements the Lwala monitoring, evaluation and learning system. Sandra is a dynamic researcher with over seventeen years of experience overseeing and coordinating institutional research with expressed purpose to support pursuit of actionable evidence in reproductive, maternal, child, and adolescent health programs. She has a MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine & University of London and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Molecular Cell Sciences from University of Memphis, TN. She has also just completed an MA in Creative Writing with University of Hull which she hopes will supplement her technical knowledge to write and curate positive Kenyan stories.
